Thompsons of Prudhoe are one of the UK’s most trusted specialist demolition contractors.
Our award winning team specialise in providing national demolition services, industrial dismantling, asbestos removal, earthworks, contaminated land remediation, site reclamation and site clearance services.
In addition, Thompsons operate five quarries/recycling centres throughout the North of England supplying crushed rock, sand and gravel, rock armour, agricultural lime and recycled aggregates to the construction and agriculture industries.
Thompsons of Prudhoe remains a family-owned business, operating for over 75 years and directly employing in excess of 330 employees. We strongly believe in the growth and development of both our loyal and long-serving workforce, as well as local communities.

Thompsons of Prudhoe are long standing members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and the Asbestos Removal Contactor’s Association (ARCA). Our staff are also members of the Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE) and Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM).
